From everything I've read, I should be able to plug my iPhone 12 Pro Max into the 20W USB-C Speed Charger, attach the MagSafe, and charge both the iPhone and the Magsafe at the same time. How do I tell how much charge it has (besides seeing a green light flash for a few seconds when it's charged- never seen that, but heard it's suppose to happen). Only twice has a Magsafe screen popped up on me to show me anything- the very first time I ever attached it, and one random time since then. Am I doing something wrong? Ideally, we should be able to easily tell how much battery charge is in the Magsafe, but I haven't effectively been able to tell that. ![]() ![]() This Magsafe is getting my iPhone very hot. No matter what I do, my iPhone is sitting at 14-16%. I've left it sitting in each configuration for about an hour. I've tried several different ways of charging via the Magsafe- Magsafe by itself with the Speed Charger, Magsafe plugged into the Speed Charger with the iPhone sitting on top, Magsafe attached to the iPhone while the iPhone is plugged into the Speed Charger. I can typically have a full charge in less than an hour. When I plug my phone into the Speed Charger and directly to the wall, my phone charges super quickly. That said, I bought this Magsafe Battery Pack thinking it would be a great way to set my phone on at night to charge my phone, as well as have a battery back up on the go. I typically use my Apple 20W USB-C Speed Charger (which has a super thick and long cord) to charge my phone from the wall outlet. I'm running the latest software update for my iPhone (IOS 16.4.1). I purchased a new Magsafe Battery Pack to use with my iPhone 12 Pro Max.
